#101 - Ms.R

One of the best programs in this town, in my opinion is GDC. The administrator and her staff do a phenomenal job of preparing many young minds for school.  They teach them independence, self-control, and how to have fun and learn at the same time.  The one drawback to this fine facility is its location.  For those of you who are familiar, let me just say it like this...it's on the East side.  Put simply, this means it is far away with lots and lots of bridges, traffic lights, a tunnel and many morons in the way.  Also, their schedule does not cater to working parents, and the programs usually let in and out right around rush hour in our small town.  That brings me to #101.

She is the van driver.  She was my saving grace for 6 years.  She would drive the van from the East side to the West side to pick up a couple of small frys (for a small extra fee which was gladly paid) and then bring them back to the West.  She allowed me to travel about 3 blocks to drop off and pick up instead of 30 minutes of aggrevation each way.  She was very rarely late and never got into an accident.  She kept my boys safe and got them to school on time.

Although I do not hate traffic anywhere near as much as #99, I sure did appreciate #101!
